Tiffany's Iced Tea (Half Lemonade, Half Sweet Tea)
6:00:00 PM
Ingredients:
- Lemon Juice
- Sugar (2 to 4 cips)
- Lipton Tea Bags (4 Large Bags or 10 Regular Bags)
- Water
Get a tea kettle or pot fill with water and boil to a rolling. Depending on how big your tea bag is add 1 or 4 per the 1 Gal pitcher. Let it steep until the tea is dark. You'll want a strong flavor of tea to come through.

Add the sugar to the pitcher. Add in the lemon juice to create a lemony slurry. Its should be a thick syrupy consistency.
Then add your hot tea and add some cold water. When you add the tea it should fill the pitcher half way and fill with the cold water. I usually add a little over 3 cups of sugar. Because the tea is brewed dark and it needs sweetness. I'm not a fan of sugarless tea so SWEET TEA is what you will get with this recipe.
*If you add too much sugar don't fret! Just simply add as much ice to the tea as possible. As the ice melts it will dilute the tea giving it the desired sweetness!
*Add ice to the pitcher place the top on it and then put it in the fridge to chill. Wait ten minute until your mixture is nice and cold and then you will have ice cold sweet tea.
*A 1 Gal pitcher should serve a family of 4.
*If you wanted to edge this up a little you can add the following:
- Absolut Vodka: Mandarin, Citron, Apeach, Ruby Red, Mango
- Ciroc: Peach
- Tennessee Honey Jack Daniels
- Smirnoff Vodka
You can also make this into a Hot Toddy!
